Born and raised in Florida, Ciara Rae has begun to make her mark on the Nashville Music Scene.
Her early music training started with piano and voice, but shortly after expanded into the guitar and songwriting as well. Let’s just say, Ciara is a “triple threat” in Nashville as an accomplished singer, songwriter and musician.
Formally trained from BOTH the University of Miami (Florida) Frost School of Music for Jazz Vocals AS WELL AS the world renowned Belmont University Mike Curb School of Music for Songwriting and Music Business in Nashville. She is proficient in the country, blues, jazz, pop and classical genres.
Performances include: Summerfest Music Festival in Milwaukee, WI; Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale, FL; The CMA Music Festival in Nashville, TN; Key West Songwriter's Festival in Key West, FL; Frontier Cheyenne Days in Cheyenne, WY; and Loretta Lynn’s Motorcycles and Music Revival in Nashville, TN. Ciara has also opened for Sheryl Crowe, Darius Rucker, Jana Kramer, Little Big Town and Lynyrd Skynyrd. She’s also released ten songs and one EP, all of which she managed the production, composition and was the recording artist.
As far as philanthropy is concerned, part of Ms. Rae’s merchandise is sponsored by The Mocha Club with proceeds go to their Women At Risk program. The organization works to end the sex trafficking epidemic in Africa. Additionally, she has performed to support numerous charities in the United States over the past four years, has a working relationship with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America and the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA).
